Shop Foreman/woman

We are looking for a **Shop Foreman** to help lead our growing team.

The applicant must be **Local to the Grande Prairie area** and have reliable transportation with a valid Class 5 Drivers License and clean Drivers abstract.

**Job type**: Full time, Permanent

**Schedule**: Monday - Friday, Weekend shifts as needed

**Pay**: Hourly, Overtime Eligible

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Manage Daily schedule and ensure proper workflow and project finalization.
- Review of employee time tracking
- Sheet metal and fabrication skills
- Customer relations
- Quality control
- Estimating
- Employee evaluations
- Job trouble shooting
- Ability to read and work from shop/production drawings, blueprints, and welding process specs.
- Fabrication skill with knowledge of many techniques and tools (laying out, cutting, fitting, measuring and welding metals)
- Applicant must be familiar with the following processes: Aluminum spool gun, tig, mig and stick. Onsite portable welding
- Operate metal shaping machines such as brakes, shears and other metal straightening and bending machines.
- Assist with day-to-day operations in all aspects of Alloy Industries, including other tasks not mentioned above

**Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities**
- Journeyman or red seal
- Strong troubleshooting and decision-making skills
- Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
- Exceptional multi-tasking abilities and prioritization skills
- General knowledge of safety procedures
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License with a clean Drivers Abstract

Pay: $40.00-$50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week
