**ORGANIZATION**:The BC-CfE is a world-renowned HIV/AIDS Centre with innovative, low barrier approach to healthcare delivery in clinical practice and an integrated group of research concentrations in Laboratory Sciences, Clinical Trials, Population Health and Epidemiology, Health Economics and Professional Education Programs. A multidisciplinary team of clinicians including Physicians, Nurses, Social Workers and Peers and researchers including Health Economists, Epidemiologists, Clinical Researchers, Statisticians, Programmers, and Data Analysts work collaboratively to improve the health of British Columbians with HIV and communities facing socio-economic barriers in accessing healthcare through the development, ongoing monitoring and dissemination of comprehensive research and treatment programs for HIV and related diseases.
**Role**: The **Change Lead** is accountable for providing strategic leadership, guidance, and expertise to drive successful organizational change initiatives and transformations. Reporting directly to the Director of Operations, this role is responsible for assessing the risk and impact of change, evaluating organizational readiness, and developing and executing comprehensive change strategies. The **Change Lead** plays a pivotal role in enabling the successful delivery of key projects within the Core Operations Portfolio, fostering adoption, enhancing employee engagement, and driving the achievement of measurable outcomes, including value creation, return on investment, and organizational success.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Lead the planning, development, execution, and evaluation of change management strategies and initiatives across multiple project streams (e.g., needs assessments, impact assessments, communication plans, stakeholder engagement).
- Cultivate and strengthen relationships, promote networking, and build collective capacity to advance shared change priorities across all stakeholder groups.
- Drive knowledge exchange and support knowledge translation activities with operational leaders, staff, and external partners to build change management capability.
- Utilize best practices, tools, and frameworks to assess, address, and manage the impacts of transformational change effectively.
- Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders on complex changes and transformations, fostering collaboration and alignment among diverse stakeholders.
- Partner with project managers, leadership teams, and project teams to align change initiatives with organizational goals and address emerging challenges proactively.
- Oversee the execution of change initiatives, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and scope while maintaining a focus on achieving desired outcomes.
- Contribute in development and implementation of communication plans to effectively deliver key messages and engage core audiences, fostering understanding and adoption of change.
**Qualifications**:
**Education, Training, and Experience**:
- Five to ten (5-10) years of experience in change management, project management, or organizational development.
- Formal training or certification in change management methodology/frameworks (e.g., PROSCI) is highly desirable.
- A Master’s degree in a relevant discipline such as Health or Business Administration, Leadership, or Organizational Development, is desirable.
**Skills and Abilities**:
- Demonstrated ability to lead and influence across diverse stakeholder groups, promoting alignment and collaboration.
- Advanced knowledge of project management principles, tools, and phases, with the ability to integrate these into change strategies.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to diverse audiences.
- Solid understanding of the health care sector, public sector, social sector, is an asset.
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines under pressure, and resolve issues in a timely and effective manner.
- Proficiency in Office 365 and project management software (e.g., word processing, spreadsheets, reporting, presentations, databases).
