**What you’ll do**:
Responsibilities for this position include the following:

- Oversee daily operations and management of the liquor store and team members
- Receive and validate product; Enter invoices
- Plan, execute, and manage merchandising and marketing initiatives in-store
- Create weekly schedules in accordance with labour budgets and needs of the store
- Complete daily cash reconciliation
- Complete store audits, inventory validation, and inventory management
- Effectively communicate with Team Leaders and store teams, training and coaching sessions while keeping teams informed
- Train, mentor, and develop Team Leaders to deliver guest service excellence and ensure succession planning by identifying and developing future leaders
- Conduct regular follow-ups and ensure mandatory training is completed by Team Leaders and store teams; follow up on incomplete training and create action plan
- Foster a collaborative, supportive and engaging work environment within your Area
- Ensure teams are trained on product selection and have successfully completed product knowledge training
- Facilitate store requests for hiring and position changes with Human Resources & Recruitment
- Address all performance or behavioral issues in conjunction with the District Manager and/or Human Resources when necessary
- Ensure the timely and accurate execution of company standards, programs and initiatives in-store

**What we’re looking for**:
A **legal-aged (19 years of age or older) individual** that is **Serving It Right certified** and:

- Has previous experience in leading and managing people in a busy retail environment
- Has effective interpersonal, leadership and communications skills, motivation, and ability to work in a busy environment
- Can demonstrate the ability to maintain relationships outside of the organization that support the organization
- Is computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Word, plus the ability to manage computer files efficiently
- Enjoy working with the public
- Has flexibility to work a variety of shifts, and can adapt their schedule to provide coverage in the store manager’s absence
- Works cooperatively with supporting departments, takes initiative, and works well with limited direction or supervision
- Promotes a fun, engaging environment for both team members and guests
