Toronto, Canada North York Seniors Centre Full time

_**North York Seniors Centre**_ provides programs and services to promote the physical, emotional and social well-being of adults 55+ living in our diverse community.

This position reports to the In-Home Services Supervisor.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide personal care for clients in their homes
- Provide light housekeeping for clients in their homes
- Report client changes and complete the client progress reports
- Participate in continuous quality improvement processes
- Maintain a high standard of customer service that is client focused

**Qualifications/ Skills**:

- A graduate of an approved Personal Support Worker program with a school registered with the Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities
- Completion of a vulnerable sector screening 1 year or less
- Up-to-date First Aid and CPR training
- Fluent in English and other languages an asset (i.e. Russian, Polish, Chinese, Korean, Farsi)
- Ability to work in both community and assisted living settings
- Strong communication and written skills
- One year of experience working as a Personal Support Worker, an asset
- Physically able to support clients during transfers from position to position
- Valid driver’s license and car available, an asset
- Work Location: North York
- Compliant to NYSC's Vaccination Policy

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From $22.00 per hour
