We are searching for a Baker to join ou r Parkstone Enhanced Care team based in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

About the Opportunity

Preparing baked goods according to established standards, procedure, recipes, and menus
Receiving, storing, and rotating inventory of all required foods and supplies
Maintaining safety and sanitation in the kitchen to meet legislative and organizational standards

About You

High School/ GED completion
Red Seal Baker’s papers from certified institution (asset)
Minimum three (3) years experience in high-volume baking
Ability to work a schedule which includes nights and holidays
CPR & Emergency First Aid Certification (asset)
Basics Fst. /Food Handlers Course (asset)
Previous experience working with seniors in a Retirement Living or Long-Term Care environment (asset)
