**RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES**:

- Stair orders will be built as per standard operating procedures or as dictated by Supervisor.
- Prior to building, Stair design layouts are to be scrutinized and thoroughly understood.
- Precut lumber should be inspected and/or measured for length and possible damage or irregularities associated with quality control and standard operating procedures.
- Upon completing a Stair (order), the Stair Assembler will proceed to build subsequent orders or report to the Stair Supervisor tor further instructions.
- Thorough and complete organization of tools, materials and workstation and the cleaning and/or disposal of waste is required at all times.
- Regular inspection and maintenance as required for tools and machinery and any problems or irregularities to be reported immediately to the Supervisor.
- All other duties as assigned by Supervisor(s) Adhere to ZyTech’s safety, quality assurance and standard operating procedures and policies.
- Other tasks as assigned by your manager.

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Ability to lift up to 50lbs throughout the day.
- Previous construction experience required.
- Previous Carpentry or related experience required.
- Experience operating forklifts and a valid operator’s permit would be as asset.
- Experience accurately operating power/air tools, use an imperial tape measure, and have basic math skills.
- The comprehension of technical layout design for Stairs.
- Steel-toed work boots and appropriate clothing to work outside are required.
- Ability to read, write and understand English.

- Airdrie, AB T4A 2G2: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Construction/Carpentry: 1 year (required)
