**SOCIALSERVICES ADDICTION WORKERS**

**Part-Time (Primarily Weekend)**

(Multi-Functional Bed, Women’s Treatment and Men’s Recovery Home Programs)

**Monarch Recovery Services** provides support to people needing assistance to be able to participate in treatment and programs related to substance use. We are seeking Part-Time Social Services Addiction Workers to work 8 hour scheduled shifts at the Multi-Functional Bed Program, Women’s Treatment and Men’s Recovery Home programs, afternoons, and weekends.

The job duties include: To supervise and monitor the clients and provide emotional support and grounding as required, ensure the safety and care of residents, maintain all client and other records as required, respond to emergency and crisis situations, assist in the completion of admissions and discharges, encourage activities that will assist the client with their recovery and other program duties.

Salary range $21.27- $22.46

**Qualifications**:

- Social Services Diploma or equivalent post-secondary education, addictions training or experience
- Familiar with residential settings
- Must have First Aid/CPR and Non-Violent Crisis Intervention training.
- Must be proficient with the computer.
- Excellent verbal, written communication, and listening skills.
- Bilingual in French and English a definite asset

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 16 per week

**Salary**: $21.27-$22.46 per hour
