**Job Overview**
**Duties**
- Conduct thorough examinations of patients' feet and ankles to diagnose conditions.
- Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
- Administer medications as required and educate patients on proper medication usage.
- Perform surgical procedures related to podiatric conditions when necessary.
- Maintain accurate medical records using Cerner, ensuring all data is collected and documented appropriately.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide holistic patient care.
- Stay current with research in podiatry to enhance treatment options and patient outcomes.
- Educate patients on foot health, preventive measures, and proper footwear.
**Requirements**:
- Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) degree from an accredited institution.
- Valid state license to practice podiatry.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to podiatry.
- Experience in acute care settings is preferred.
- Familiarity with Cerner or similar electronic health record systems is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient care and education.
- Ability to work effectively in a medical office environment, demonstrating professionalism at all times.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and research in the field of podiatry.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $75.00-$300.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8 - 24 per week
