**Job Description** Job Summary**:

- Coordinate international **air freight import and export** shipments, including booking, documentation, customs clearance, and final delivery.
- Manage **ocean freight imports** (FCL and LCL), including carrier bookings, container tracking, and coordination with steamship lines and overseas agents.
- Prepare and process all necessary shipping documentation (e.g., commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, airway bills).
- Ensure compliance with applicable customs and trade regulations (CBSA, IATA, Transport Canada, etc.).
- Communicate effectively with overseas agents, customers, customs brokers, and carriers.
- Monitor shipments and provide proactive updates to clients, resolving issues as they arise.
- Accurately enter and maintain shipment data in **CargoWise** and ensure system accuracy for billing and reporting.
- Collaborate with internal departments including sales, customer service, and finance to support client needs.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of international freight forwarding trends, tariffs, and trade regulations.

**Qualifications**
- Minimum **1-2 years of experience** in international freight forwarding (air and ocean, import and export) a strong asset, logistics experience will also count
- Knowledge of **air cargo regulations**, **INCOTERMS**, and **international trade documentation**.
- Solid understanding of **ocean freight**, including **FCL (Full Container Load)** and **LCL (Less than Container Load)** processes.
- Experience with **CargoWise** is a **strong asset**.
- Familiarity with Canadian customs procedures and import/export compliance.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.

**Education & Certifications**:

- Post-secondary education in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field an asset.
- CIFFA or other industry-recognized certifications are an asset.
