**Job Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods to designated locations.
- Load and unload freight, ensuring proper handling of materials.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
- Maintain accurate delivery records and logs, including mileage and fuel consumption.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise.
- Operate forklifts and other heavy equipment as necessary for loading and unloading tasks.
- Perform minor automotive repairs and maintenance on delivery vehicles when required.

**Requirements**:

- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) is preferred.
- Experience in freight handling and knowledge of shipping regulations.
- Ability to operate heavy equipment safely, including forklifts.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for accurate record-keeping.
- Basic automotive repair skills are a plus.
- Must be able to lift heavy packages (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks associated with loading/unloading freight.
