As a Financial Business Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the company by providing in-depth financial analysis, developing actionable insights, and contributing to strategic decision-making. You will work closely with various departments to drive financial performance and optimize business processes.

The Details
- Conduct detailed financial analysis, including variance analysis, trend analysis, and financial forecasting
- Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for senior management, highlighting key performance indicators and financial metrics
- Assist in the development and management of the company’s annual budget and financial forecasts
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
- Collaborate with various departments to understand their financial needs and provide insights to improve financial performance
- Evaluate business processes and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness

About You
- Friendly with a good sense of humour
- You take your work seriously, but you don’t take yourself too seriously
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
- 3-5 years of experience in financial analysis, business analysis, or a related role
- Preferably a CPA designation (or working towards it)
- Advanced knowledge of Excel is required, and working knowledge of the other analytic tools would be an asset
- Good understanding of ERP systems, Business Central would be an asset
- Project management skills
