**Responsibilities**:

- Greet and seat guests with a warm and friendly demeanor.
- Take and accurately relay food and beverage orders.
- Provide detailed information about menu items, including specials and promotions.
- Ensure timely delivery of orders to tables.
- Anticipate and respond to guest needs in a proactive manner.
- Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure seamless service.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dining area.
- Handle cash and payments accurately.
- Uphold a high standard of professionalism and courtesy.

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a server in a restaurant or bar setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong multitasking abilities.
- Knowledge of food and beverage pairings is a plus.
- Positive attitude and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
- Ability to stand and move for extended periods.

**Salary**: From $16.55 per hour

Expected hours: 28 - 40 per week

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

- Port Hope, ON L1A 3B5: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- serving: 3 years (required)
- Bartending: 3 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Smart Serve (preferred)
