We are currently seeking an Accounting Technician to join our team in Vancouver. As a detailed oriented and accuracy-driven Accounting Technician, you will be responsible for effectively and efficiently ensuring accurate and timely clients reports preparation. You will also help the Accounts Payable department.

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Preparing monthly reports for clients including profit and loss, balance sheet, trial balance, etc.
- Creating and updating journal entries
- Processing accounts payable and accounts receivable invoices
- Managing and creating cash disbursements through cheque and EFT
- Responding to queries from the Head Office, other departments, clients and vendors
- Conducting bank and credit reconciliations
- Assisting through internal and external audit processes
- Supporting the accounting team with tasks, reports, etc.
- Performing other related duties as required

**Working Conditions**:

- A friendly, collaborative, dynamic, and fast-paced work environment
- Must be able to sit/stand in front of computer for long periods of time

**Required Qualifications**:

- Minimum of 2 years in an accounting or similar role
- Accounting Diploma
- Interpret and implement accounting standards, policies, and procedures
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Excellent organizational skills with an ability to prioritize effectively and work on multiple tasks
- Strong computer skills with ability to learn new software
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word and Outlook
- Excellent customer service and communication skills with ability to resolve conflicts
