Accounting Technician

**Responsibilities**:

- Preparation of corporate year end files (Compilation Engagement Reports)
- Preparation of corporate tax returns and personal tax returns
- Performing client bookkeeping services
- Other accounting, data entry, and other client service functions as needed

**Requirements**:

- 5+ years of experience in bookkeeper or Accounting Technician role
- Strong bookkeeping and accounting skills
- Recent public accounting experience and familiarity with Caseware, Microsoft Office and Tax Prep would be an asset
- Experience with Sage and QuickBooks is highly valued
- Ability to interact with our clients
- Able to prioritize workloads, meet deadlines and work under pressure
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Values teamwork, client/customer service, professionalism, community involvement, personal and professional growth
- Experience with a public practice
- This position does not require a designation
