**Overview**
Newforce Energy Services Ltd. is a diversified oilfield services company with divisions in: pipeline construction, pipeline maintenance and integrity, facilities construction, facilities maintenance, lease & road construction, and electrical and instrumentation (E&I).
Newforce is currently looking for a Business Development Manager who is experienced in the Oil & Gas industry to join our team.
**Responsibilities**
- Foster positive relationships with existing customers.
- Pursue new business opportunities with a focus on oil and gas customers that align with management’s strategic aims.
- Drive growth through prospecting and networking. Consistently and expeditiously follow up on prospective leads.
- Maintain customer database system with leads opportunities, customer information, and networking activities.
- Maintain current knowledge of industry activity.
- Provide accurate and timely sales reports and planning to senior leadership.
- Travel to customer offices or site locations for in-person meetings as needed.
- Act as initial contact for new clients as the liaison between marketing and operations.
- Understand client needs and objectives to help provide optimal service.
- Follow up on results of bids awarded or lost to maximize opportunities for success on future bids.
- Work with operating team to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction.
- Provide input into marketing strategy and assist with its implementation.
- Appropriately manage customer expectations of service delivery.
- Work with operations to identify growth opportunities for existing work.
- Report customer feedback to management.
- Represent self and Newforce in a professional manner.
**Qualifications**
- Post-secondary Business degree in marketing, sales, or administration an asset.
- Minimum 3 years experience in oil and gas industry
- Standard oilfield safety certificates for jobsite visits.
- Well-developed presentation, negotiation, and communication skills. Professional appearance and presence with customers
- Demonstrated ability to build working relationships with customers and partners
- Ability to work effectively and proactively with little supervision, strong sales reporting & analysis skills
- Ability to travel frequently to customer locations; valid driver’s licence
- Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques (including cold calls)
- Track record of achieving sales quotas
- Experience with CRM software an asset.
- Knowledge of various software suites including Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat; awareness of oilfield software such as Acorn, AbaData and others
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to deliver engaging presentations
- Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy, consistency, and organization.
- Ability to work independently
- Must maintain a high level of confidentiality
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
