The Atlantic Veterinary College is currently seeking a research assistant for a dairy cow research project assessing animal sleep. This position requires a motivated individual capable of working independently and in a team environment and has some experience with research.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- The successful applicant will help collect and analyze data from heart rate and electromyography sensors used on dairy cattle
**QUALIFICATIONS**:
- Knowledge of cattle behavior welfare is an asset
- Must have some previous research experience
- Experience working with electromyography sensors would be an asset
- Must be self-motivated and be able to work as part of a team
- Experience working with large datasets is ideal
