**REPORTS TO**: Director of Fund Development
**CONTRACT TYPE**: Permanent

**SCHEDULE**:Contracted hours negotiable - 0.8 to 1.0 FTE, (30-37.5 hours/weekly)** Salary prorated to FTE level.

**POSITION OVERVIEW**
The Grant Coordinator is a key contributor in securing, stewarding, and meeting the terms of CUPS’ major funding agreements with government entities, corporations, foundations, and other major donors. This role collaborates closely with Operations, Finance, and Evaluation & Impact teams to compile compelling proposals and illustrative reports. With support from the Director of Fund Development, the Grant Coordinator oversees the internal management of grants and funding agreements, ensuring compliance and proper stewardship.

This position supports CUPS’ Integrated Care Client Service model by facilitating partnerships with donors who align with our mission and making it easy for organizations and government entities to support our goals.

**Leadership & Partnership**
- Act as the internal point person for accurate and up-to-date information on grants and major funding agreements.
- Build and manage a tracking system to capture and monitor all reporting and renewal requirements for funding agreements.
- Contribute to the development and refinement of efficient processes for grant tracking, management, and stewardship.
- Champion CUPS’ Integrated and Trauma-Informed Care delivery models through effective storytelling and highlighting program successes.

**Organizational Performance Duties**

**Funding Agreement Management**
- Implement a tracking system for contractual obligations, reporting, and recognition activities, ensuring stakeholders meet deadlines.
- Convene grant proposal and reporting meetings to align stakeholders and maintain schedules.
- Support Operations and Finance in ensuring grant funds are used according to funder guidelines and donor intent.

**Grant Proposal Preparation**
- Investigate and summarize funding opportunities, presenting detailed summaries to inform decision-making.
- Develop clear, persuasive grant proposals tailored to specific funder requirements, collaborating with internal stakeholders.
- Compile and edit proposal content provided by stakeholders to ensure alignment with CUPS branding and funder-appropriate tone and messaging
- Submit finalized grant proposals and ensure all documentation and supporting materials are accurate and complete.

**Grant Reporting Coordination**
- Track and communicate reporting deadlines and requirements to relevant stakeholders.
- Coordinate contributions for donor reports, ensuring compliance with funding agreements and donor expectations.
- Compile and revise report content to align with funder tone, messaging, and CUPS branding.
- Submit finalized reports, ensuring all documentation and supporting materials are complete.

**CUPS Collaboration and Relations**
- Build collaborative and accountable relationships with internal CUPS colleagues to strengthen communication and achieve team objectives.
- Ensure accurate tracking and reporting of donor and event data in collaboration with the Donor Data Specialist.
- Collaborate with Donor Relations and Community Engagement Specialists to respond to requests or opportunities for donor engagement through events, volunteer opportunities, and public recognition.
- Support fundraising and stewardship events, major campaigns, volunteer programs, and donor initiatives as required.

**BACKGROUND REQUIRED**
- 3+ years’ experience in administrative or coordinator position supporting mid
- to upper-level leaders
- Strong professional writing skills in information and persuasive styles, with experience in grant proposal and report preparation (preferably in the charitable sector).
- Familiarity with Calgary’s non-profit funding landscape and funding sources at local, provincial, and federal levels is an asset.
- Exceptional accuracy in data management, with an organized approach to work and strong attention to detail.
