Logistics Support Clerk

The Logistics Support Clerk will collaborate closely with dispatch, drivers, customer service, and third parties in completing a variety of duties in an office environment to assist in fulfilling our transportation service offerings. Full training will be provided to ensure your success, along with the opportunity for growth within our organization.

**Responsibilities**:

- Analyze document information to verify and support pre planned trip manifests and border crossings
- Digital Imaging
- Efficiently and accurately process customs-related documents, ensuring compliance with Canadian and US customs laws and regulations, as it relates to border crossing for customs clearance via ACE/ACI web portal
- Liaise with clients, brokers, and colleagues regarding clearance of shipments, pick-ups, deliveries, and customs-related matters.
- Conduct follow-up and completion of ACI and ACE.
- Provide accurate customs information to drivers to ensure efficient and trouble-free border crossing.
- Update customer web portals if necessary
- Support customer service clerical work as needed
- Responsible for all administrative duties required in completing the above-mentioned matters.
- Perform other duties as necessary, including assistance with Customer Service and Dispatch Department

**Requirements**:

- Minimum of one year of administrative, customs, logistics, and/or dispatch experience required.
- High level of detail-oriented processes
- Excellent time-management, problem-solving, and multitasking skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong computer literate skills, with an ability to use related software with high proficiency
- Experience with Accellos, Visual Gateway, E-Customs, Ace & ACI web portals an asset.
- Ability to work independently and within a team setting
- Customs Certification (CCS) is an asset
- Job required to be onsite
