Role Description

The Jr. Project Controls role plays a key role in supporting the successful delivery of strategic projects by

providing consistent and accurate deliverables tracking, schedule and cost controls, and executive-level

reporting. Working within the Project Delivery Department, this role ensures that projects adhere to established governance, reporting standards, and best practices in project control disciplines.

Reports to: Lead Project Engineers

Main Responsibilities

Collaboration:

- Provide project management assistance and project controls support throughout the life-cycle of a project from proposal through to project closeout.
- Set up collaboration sessions in Bluebeam studio software.

Document Control
- Maintain a structured system for organizing and storing project documents, ensuring the most

current versions are available
- Request drawings from stakeholders.
- Keep detailed records of document status, including approvals, reviews, and changes, maintaining a clear audit trail to track changes
- Maintain and manage project documentation folders in SharePoint and internal networks, ensuring version control, accessibility, and proper naming conventions are consistently applied across all active and archived projects
- Review and audit final drawings to ensure accuracy and compliance before delivering turnover packages to the client.
- Coordinate with Quality Control (QC) to ensure timely receipt, review, and upload of documents to the client network
- Assist in requesting redlines and coordinate with the drafting team to complete as-built drawings for turnover to the ARC system Procurement:

- Collaborate with the procurement function to determine procurement needs
- Support the procurement function with requesting for quotes, track purchase orders and ensure delivery dates align with project schedule.
- Prepare and issue Requests for Quotation (RFQs) to suppliers in accordance with project requirements.
- Assist in bid evaluations by comparing pricing, delivery terms, and supplier capabilities.
- Created Purchase Requisitions (PRs) based on approved quotations and internal demand.
- Follow up with vendors to expedite order processing and ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Maintain accurate procurement records and supported internal teams with order status updates.

**Qualifications**:

- Cost estimation and budgeting

- Experience with document management systems or software
- basic proficiency in AutoCAD, Excel, Bluebeam.
- Basic understanding of project management principles.

- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a diverse team.
