Line Cook

**Job Summary**

**Duties**
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards.
- Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service demands.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including workstations and equipment.
- Adhere to food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures.
- Assist in inventory management, including receiving and storing food supplies.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient meal preparation and service.
- Help develop new menu items and contribute creative ideas for daily specials.
- Monitor food quality during preparation and presentation, making adjustments as needed.

**Qualifications**
- 2 years previous experience in the food service or food industry is preferred.
- Knowledge of kitchen equipment operation and maintenance.
- Familiarity with food handling, preparation techniques, and safety standards.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a busy restaurant setting.
- Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff.
- A passion for cooking and willingness to learn new techniques and recipes.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
