**Responsibilities and Duties**:

- In this team environment you are fully accountable and responsible for the restaurant, meeting the expectations of operational efficiency, 100% superior customer service and satisfaction, community relations, employee development, sales and profitability
- Proactively manage day-to-day operations
- Encourage the development of restaurant personnel through the administration of schedules, training and coaching
- Oversee recruitment, motivation and retention of staff
- Manage all areas of operating practices including cost control and labour management
- Handle daily cash reporting and completion of required financial management forms and reports
- Oversee the execution of marketing initiatives
- Oversee staff compliance with all service, health, cleanliness and procedural standards.

**Qualifications & Skills**:

- Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or in a similar role at least 1 year
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure.
- Knowledge of restaurant management software and POS systems.
- A strong understanding of financial management and budgeting.
- Passion for the food and hospitality industry.
- Extensive knowledge of restaurant operations including food and beverage product and fundamental restaurant accounting practices
- Self-motivated with excellent organization, communication, leadership and presentation skills
- An energetic will to succeed in a participative management role
- A sense and appearance of professionalism
- Detail oriented, with the ability to multi-task and improvise, while maintaining required standards and systems
- Our managers work 5 days per week, and approximately 48 hours per week must be available for weekend & evening shifts.
- Workways, evenings, weekends, holidays and special events as required to meet operating and project demands
- Smart Serve certification
- Food Handlers certification

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $20.00-$24.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 48 per week
