The City of Abbotsford’s Parks, Recreation & Culture department is seeking a dynamic, self-motivated individual with proven skills and experience working in a fast-paced environment to join their team as a Planning & Partnerships Coordinator.

As the Planning & Partnerships Coordinator, you will provide advice and assistance to department management in developing, implementing and updating new plans, strategies, policies and agreements. In addition, you will analyze and interpret a variety of data and prepare recommendations related to department plans and services.

The ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing; along with the ability to coordinate and facilitate projects and workshops are essential to be successful in this role.

**Qualifications Required**:

- Degree in recreation or business administration or a related discipline from a recognized post-secondary institution;
- Minimum three years’ related experience preferably in a municipal recreation or corporate planning environment;
- Valid Class 5 BC Driver’s Licence.

This position is unionized, CUPE Local 774, and the hourly rate of pay is from $34.76 to $40.86 per hour.
