Driving business excellence, MNP is a leading national accounting, tax and business consulting firm in Canada. Our Consulting team works with organizations in the public, private and not-for-profit sectors to provide innovative strategies tailored to maximize efficiencies, enhance performance and increase profitability.
**Performance Expectations**
- Direct participation in program administration and management related to forestry programs delivered by a large forestry funding organization;
- Supporting government, industry, academic, and contractor stakeholders in the delivery of forestry funding programs;
- Tracking forestry related project activities such as silviculture, forestry improvement and other specialized projects;
- Collaborate and coordinate with team to align project resources and activities to project work plans; ensure projects are completed on time and on budget
- Complete client management support activities including project status updates and project reporting
- Communicate external findings and help make recommendations to senior executives and Boards
- Support the growth and evolution of the consulting practice with an emphasis on the forestry industry.
**Credentials**
- RPF or RPFT designation is preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of forestry or natural resources experience is preferred; relevant work experience would include at least one forestry discipline such as silviculture, operations, forest management, integrated resource management, wildfire management, or other.
- Strong computer literacy including effective working skills of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- High attention to detail and ability to create, enter and transfer data
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Self-motivated, innovative, and able to work effectively in a team environment
- Work at client locations and periodic travel may be required
