**Job Overview**
**Responsibilities**
- Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow.
- Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are available.
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
- Maintain patient records, including updating medical histories and documenting treatments.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
- Schedule appointments and manage patient flow efficiently.
- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure high standards of patient care.
- Handle administrative tasks such as managing office supplies.
**Qualifications**
- Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred, but not required.
- Familiarity with dental software (AbelDent)
- Understanding of medical terminology related to dentistry is essential.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and staff.
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Certification in Dental Assistant
