YOUR IMAPACT
The OpenText Cloud Specialists team is expanding to support the growing demand for SaaS and cloud-based solutions in Application Development, DevOps, and IT Operations Management (ITOM). As a Cloud Specialist, you will be a trusted advisor to customers, partners, and internal teams, helping drive strategic cloud migrations and SaaS adoption across North America and Europe.
You’ll work closely with Sales to qualify, shape, and close high-value cloud deals, guiding customers through their transition from legacy infrastructure to modern SaaS environments. Your insights will help customers realize the full value of OpenText’s cloud portfolio while contributing directly to revenue growth and margin improvement.
**WHAT THE ROLE OFFERS**: - Lead strategic SaaS engagements to grow OpenText revenues and improve deal margins. Collaborate with Sales to qualify and close off-cloud to cloud migration opportunities. Develop and present customer-specific TCO and ROI models for SaaS solutions. Engage directly with customers to understand licensing, infrastructure, security, and privacy requirements. Deliver enablement and tactical support to Sales, Customer Success, Support, and Professional Services teams. Act as a regional SaaS ambassador, supporting senior country leadership in achieving cloud targets. Provide market feedback on sales cycles, competitive trends, and customer needs. Support cross-functional teams including Legal, Marketing, Renewals, Pre-Sales, Deal Desk, Training, and Product Engineering. Design and execute strategic initiatives to accelerate SaaS growth.
**WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED**:
- 8+ years of experience in Enterprise IT Sales, Technical Sales, or Pre-Sales. Experience in DevOps and/or IT Operations Management (ITOM) is highly beneficial. A consultative mindset and a passion for helping customers succeed. Confidence to take initiative, make informed decisions, and continuously improve. A strategic approach to problem-solving and a deep understanding of the SaaS landscape. Familiarity with DevOps and ITOM practices and how they intersect with cloud transformation. Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to influence across teams and levels. Deep understanding of SaaS and cloud concepts (e.g., encryption, key management, HA/DR, RTO/RPO, SLO/SLA, GDPR). Proven ability to build trust and credibility with customers and internal stakeholders. Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel. Excellent analytical, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills. Ability to thrive in virtual, cross-functional environments.
