**Main Responsibilities**:

- **Initial Focus - Flyer Distribution**:

- Distribute promotional flyers to nearby construction sites and contractors during non-peak hours (approximately 2-4 hours a day).
- Ensure flyers are delivered efficiently to increase awareness of the store’s products and services in the local area.
- Gas expenses for flyer distribution will be reimbursed by the company.
- **Transition to Full Front-End Attendant Responsibilities**:

- **Parking and Customer Assistance,**oversee parking lot usage to ensure spaces are reserved for Summit Tools customers only, especially during busy times. Assist customers with parking and ensure efficient use of spaces.
- **Customer Flow Support**: Assist with customer flow at the store entrance and exit, especially during high-traffic periods and events. Ensure a smooth experience for customers entering and leaving the store.
- **Store Events and Promotions**:

- Help create an inviting atmosphere for customers during promotional events, providing support and guidance as needed.
- Distribute promotional materials, including flyers and special offers, to customers as part of store events and promotions.
- **Loss Prevention and Store Safety**: Stay alert for signs of theft or suspicious activity inside the store. Report concerns to management and help maintain store security.
- **Large Item Assistance**: Help customers transport large tools from the store to their vehicles and assist in bringing tools from the warehouse to cash registers during busy periods.

**Experience**:

- Previous experience in customer service, retail, or security roles is preferred.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with high customer traffic.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- A valid driver’s license is required for flyer distribution.

**Skills**:

- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to provide excellent customer service and maintain a positive and professional attitude.
- Physical ability to assist with large tools and move around the store and parking area.
- Organizational skills and the ability to multi-task effectively.
- Attention to detail with a focus on customer safety and store security.
- Ability to adapt and remain calm during busy periods or unforeseen circumstances.
- Willingness to take on a variety of tasks, from flyer distribution to assisting with store events and promotions.

This is a **full-time, permanent position**, with the initial focus on flyer distribution for 2-4 hours a day for approximately 3-5 months. After this initial phase, the role will transition into a full-time Front-End Attendant position, offering stability and long-term opportunities for growth within the company.

Pay: $19.00-$21.00 per hour
