This position reports to the Vice President, Sylvite. Marketing coordinator plays a crucial role in supporting the successful implementation of marketing strategies. The primary responsibility for this role is to create engaging and compelling written and visual content for a variety of marketing and communications purposes including content related to website and social media.

**Marketing**:

- Build and maintain the company's brand image and positioning in the market. Ensuring brand consistency across all marketing materials and touchpoints.
- Developing engaging and relevant content for marketing purposes, including website content, blog posts, social media posts, videos, infographics, whitepapers, and more.
- Work closely with sales, product development, and other departments to align marketing efforts with business objectives and support their initiatives.
- Manage relationship with vendors including print media, digital media, and promotional companies.
- Develop monthly analytics report + report on the results monthly

**Communications**:

- Develop and produce engaging content for various communication channels, including newsletters, press releases, blog posts, social media posts, website content, and other marketing materials.
- Manage the organization's social media accounts, including content scheduling, community engagement, and monitoring for brand mentions and trends.
- Support public relations efforts by assisting with press releases, media outreach, and maintaining relationships with media outlets to secure coverage.
- Facilitate internal communications by coordinating team updates, newsletters, announcements, and ensuring information is effectively shared across the organization.
- Assist in planning and coordinating events, workshops, webinars, or conferences to promote the organization and engage with stakeholders.
- Collaborate with the web development team to update and maintain the organization's website with relevant and up-to-date content.
- Ensure brand consistency across all communication materials and channels, adhering to brand guidelines and messaging.
- Monitor media coverage and industry trends to provide relevant insights and recommendations for communication strategies.
- Work to create visually appealing graphics, infographics, and multimedia content for communication purposes.

- **Education, Experience and / or Training Requirements**:_
- Undergraduate Degree/Diploma program in Marketing or Communications
- Knowledge of writing copy for publishing
- Previous related experience working with social media
- High Proficiency in Business Software - MS Office, Canva, MailChimp
- 2-4 years previous experience in a similar role
