As the Manager, Sales Development, you will use your experience and expertise to train, coach and motivate a team of Sales Development representatives to help take Rockwell Automation’s growth to a whole new level Reporting to the Director, Business Development, you will be responsible for leading the team to drive Rockwell’s inbound demand strategy to generate a pipeline of qualified leads for our sales organization.

SDRs are the backbone of our sales process, responsible for establishing customer relationships and strategically developing and providing motivated leads to our sales team. They work closely with all Business Development, Sales, and Marketing teams to develop targeted strategies and messaging to drive opportunities for new business. They are directly involved with the expansion of Rockwell’s business into the region and have the opportunity to be the local liaison for prospective clients. Success in the role is largely determined by the ability to stay motivated, tenacity and rigor. The SDR position introduces talent to various career opportunities in Business Development, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success.

**What you will do**:

- Manage to monthly, quarterly, and annual inbound demand pipeline targets
- Develop and execute the Rockwell Automation inbound pipeline generation strategy
- Collaborate with peers in Sales, Customer Success and Marketing
- Lead, coach and inspire your team to create a high-performing culture where individuals can grow their careers as well as contribute to the company's success
- Proactively assist with passive and active recruitment efforts
- Help drive continuous improvement in the Sales/Business Development practice at Rockwell
- Develop thought leadership expertise through planning and participating in various community meet-ups and technical groups, fireside chats, info sessions, tech and recruiting events, etc.

**What we’re looking for**:

- Bachelor's Degree in business or a related field
- 5+ years of overall sales experience working with high growth B2B software organizations
- 3+ years of progressive quota carrying experience with a proven track record of exceeding targets in the B2B software space
- 2+ years of business development experience working with both an inbound and outbound sales process
- Strong understanding of relevant sales methodologies and best practices
- Ability to monitor and assess progress and make necessary adjustments to achieve target outcomes
- Excellent interpersonal communications skills and proven ability to work well in a team environment and independently
- Strong organizational skills and highly analytical
- Strong understanding of Dynamics or Salesforce CRM infrastructure, ZoomInfo, Outreach, Gong and other sales tools
- Ability to flourish with mínimal guidance, be proactive, and handle uncertainty
