In this role, you will help take the lead in helping to run a high volume townhouse construction site in Maple Ridge. **With an opportunity to have a significant impact on the project you work on, responsibilities will include, but are not limited to**:

- Oversee and manage construction projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget
- Supervise and coordinate the work of trades and suppliers to ensure progress per construction schedule
- Monitor Project Progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure goals are met
- Work with professionals and City officials to ensure home passes all necessary inspections
- Ensure that components are built according to approved plans, specifications, and applicable codes/bylaws
- Coordinate with architects, engineers and other stakeholders to ensure project specifications are met
- Ensure all staff, sub-trades, and suppliers are compliant with WCB safe working practices and procedures
- Conduct daily site inspections of all homes to ensure materials and workmanship are in compliance with Epic’s quality control guidelines
- Experience working in supervisory role on large residential construction projects;
- Solid understanding of current construction practices, techniques and materials;
- Strong problem solving abilities with an attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to schedule and effectively document onsite activities;
- Apprenticeship, first aid certifications or work in the trades would be an asset;
- Understanding of Part 9 of the BCBC;
- University, college or accredited courses are a bonus;
