Project/program Manager

**MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Analyze purchasing portfolios,
- Participate in the preparation of data migrations
- Prepare communications and/or participate in potential discussions with certain suppliers,
- Communicate and transfer certain actions relating to Purchasing contracts to the relevant Category and Vendor Manager (CVM)
- Provide regular internal reporting, including to the Manager-M&A Integration, the Integration Management Office (IMO) and within GSS structure if required
- Understand the procurement contracts in place and the appropriate legal mechanisms to support integration from a Procurement perspective
- Understand the needs and strategies of the company and act as a resource person between business sectors and the appropriate GSS teams.
- Identify short-, medium
- and long-term cost reduction opportunities
- Provide interesting insights on categories and sources of supply to the company in order to leverage global purchasing and category strategies.
- Participate in integration operational team meetings and meetings with internal stakeholders, and acts as GSS representative for all supplier concerns.
**REQUIREMENTS**:
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, management, engineering, operations or another relevant discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in negotiating supply contracts or equivalent experience required. Experience in the field of flight simulation or aeronautics, an asset. Sensitivity to intellectual property and/or IT licenses, an asset.
- Experience with Oracle, SAP, S2P, an asset.
- Required proficiency in Microsoft suite products, including but not limited to Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Desirable multilingualism; fluency in English and French required.
- Exceptional ability to build relationships, act as a stakeholder manager and train and develop own networks.
- Proven ability to analyze and present results in a clear and consistent manner.
- Ability to deal with ambiguous and urgent situations
- Ability to work collaboratively and support multiple initiatives.
- Ability to develop processes or determine continuous improvements to help better coordinate activities.
- Focused on project management for flawless execution.
- Problem-solving skills, strategic thinking and analytical skills.
- Real curiosity and demonstrated open-mindedness to understand the needs of the company and the repercussions of the solutions applied.
