**_About the job_**

A QA Analyst tests changes and improvements to the financial models and algorithms in our system. If there is a bug, performance problem or unexpected behavior of the system, the QA Analyst discusses the issue with the developer to see if it is an expected behavior or if a change needs to be applied. With regression tests, a QA Analyst then compares one version against another to identify if all the tickets in the new build function as expected. If there are new improvements made by developers, you will create test cases and integrate the tests into our regression test suite.

**_What you'll do_**
- Execute and evaluate manual and automated cases and report test results
- Analyze results after regression testing TestComplete, Java/JavaScript in-house build tools
- Report, track and escalate issues as appropriate, using JIRA
- Troubleshoot issues independently arising during testing phase and/or production
- Develop, update and execute test cases for new functionality with Development, Product Management and QA teams (TestRail)
- Communicate with internal/external teams regarding regression test results and issues
- Support team members in knowledge-sharing and skills sharing

**_You should have_**
- Basic knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and practices
- Familiarity with various types of software testing (functional, integration, installation)
- Hands-on experience with any scripting/programming languages (JavaScript, Java, Shell scripting)
- Practical experience with SQL, MongoDb
- Fundamental understanding of financial pricing models (Black Scholes), risk analytics (Greeks), random and historical simulation
- Understanding principles of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) preferred
