If so, consider the following opportunity We’re looking for a Part Time Set Decorator to help us grow the Rogers Sports & Media brand and connect with our multicultural, diverse audience and team partners through personalized communications and activities. The Set Decorator is responsible for the look of the show. They will work alongside the Producers, and Production Manager to keep the Studio Space fresh and up to date. The set decorator will provide assistance with a range of tasks that aid in upkeeping the Cityline and Breakfast Television Studio Spaces (e.g., furniture, drapery, artwork, and all the “stuff” that makes the space look real i.e. anything not nailed down). What you will do
- Support our producers at Rogers Sports and Media with coordinating studio decoration and prop management.
- Assist with tasks such as Painting, Prop Creation and Basic Set Building.
- Work closely with our production teams to ensure the Set is ready and prepared for upcoming segments.
- Work alongside the production manager to budget out expected costs for Set Decoration.
- The Set Decorator will be expected to understand the needs and requirements of the show and its producers. Specifically, understanding the scripts and requirements of upcoming segments.
- Assist with studio set-up including manually moving set pieces and equipment
- Assist with set-up of cameras, video monitors and studio audio equipment
- Foresee the studio needs of the production of a live show
- Set Preparation including wall painting, hanging wallpaper, hanging small shelves / pictures What you will bring
