**Scope of Position**

Reporting to the Supervisor - Logistics, the Shipper/Receiver, is responsible for the shipping and receiving of incoming/outgoing parts.
- Offloads product from trucks and provides for rotation on a “first in-first out” basis unless otherwise specified by a supervisor.
- Stores all received product in the designated areas or communicates with supervisor in the event that product has not been stored in the designated area.
- Notifies supervisor or purchaser when special or non-stock items have been received and stored.
- Inspects all incoming trucks according to company guidelines. (Temperature, cleanliness and sanitation).
- Records all deliveries in log.
- Processes purchase orders in Warehouse Management System after receiving physical product.
- Inspect and verify incoming parts against Purchase Order and Packing slip and log/communicate any discrepancies.
- Lifting up to 40 lbs.
- Bending required to different shelf levels to lift a variety of aircraft and other parts as required.
- Standing/walking for full shift hours as required.
- Bend/twist as required to complete the task.
- Pushing/pulling of a variety of items and packed carts of aircraft parts and other as required.
- Other duties as required.

**Skills and Qualifications**
- Adhere to all health, safety and environmental policies and procedures to ensure the safety and wellbeing of self, staff and visitors.
- Is self-motivated, has a collaborative approach to working within a team and can work under pressure.
- Can work at the pace prescribed for the work position and do so with mínimal errors.
- Ability to work in shifts to accommodate production scheduling.
- Exposure to quality systems and safety fundamentals.
- Maintain professionalism.
- Ability to accomplish duties required effectively and efficiently.
- Keep the Supervisor - Logistics and Team Lead well informed of daily operations.
- Ability to deal with added day to day issues and concerns.

**Experience**
- Possesses basic computer skills and has knowledge of WMS being used in house.
- 1-2 years of experience as Shipper/Receiver.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- Experience within an aerospace or manufacturing environment, considered an asset.
- Ability to work individually as well as part of a team.
- Demonstrated time management skills.
- High flexibility with strong interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse environment.
- Valid Ontario Driver’s License is required.
- Licensed and operates a forklift safely and efficiently.

**Education**
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
