**Estimator** Impact XM develops solutions for virtual and live events. We are looking for an **Estimator** to join our team. As a member of Global Operations, the Estimator will support Impact XM’s Global Sales by accurately, efficiently and collaboratively preparing cost estimates for all required projects as relates to Trade shows, Exhibits, experiential environments and permanent corporate installations. **RESPONSIBILITIES**: - Adhere to all Impact XM processes and policies accurately and efficiently - Develop understanding & effectively work with required Impact XM project systems - Communicate effectively with all required Impact XM departments & personnel - Communicate effectively with strategic partners and vendors as it relates to estimate deliverables - Keep highly organized project files - Review all new estimate requests daily for a timely response - Prepare detailed estimates from various documentation for tradeshow exhibits / experiential marketing environments _(proposals, designs, CADs, materials. specifications, etc.)_ - Review estimates created by Global Project Management - Resolves discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information - Presents prepared estimate by assembling and displaying numerical and descriptive information. - Prepares special reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends. - Maintains cost data base by entering and backing up data. - Maintains technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing technical data - Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed - Ability to visualize end result from construction drawings or renderings **REQUIREMENTS & SKILLS**: - Bachelor's degree (B. A. or B.S.) from four-year college or university or 2-5 years of estimating experience in an exhibit, experiential marketing, museum or permanent corporate display environments. - Highly organized, flexible and ability to work necessary hours in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment - Must be passionate about working with people and be customer-centric - Thrives in an entrepreneurial and independent environment - Embodies flexibility, open-mindedness and receptivity. - Strong conceptual skills - Able to read and understand construction drawings, setup prints - Able to translate solid model renderings into construction methodologies - Identifies something valuable in being part of a team and ability to effectively collaborate - Effective communication skills are required: including the ability to make effective presentations; prepare written documentation including proposals, quotations and letters; maintain accurate and complete client and project files - Must be able to develop excellent rapport with existing and prospective clients - Must have a good “business sense” - Exhibit the ability to multi-task, sell, and operate under severe time constraints and immovable deadlines.
