**Position Overview**

The Marketer is responsible for driving sales and profitability of a defined group of products and technologies. The Marketer quotes opportunities and provides resale guidance to the sales organization with the goal of winning business while maximizing profitability. This is a pivotal role in managing pricing, inventory mix and levels, and setting market resale prices and profiles. This position also serves as a key interface with manufacturers and suppliers as well as customers.

The Marketer works closely within their defined technology business unit and interfaces with asset managers (buyers) to ensure the development and maintenance of optimal inventory mix and levels, and also works with inside and outside sales organizations and engineers to win business and ensure future business is secured in the funnel.

**Responsibilities**
- Develop in-depth product, technology and market knowledge
- Provide qualified price quotations, supported by market analysis
- Optimize profitability and maximize revenue leveraging market knowledge, pricing and availability trends, as well as customer and business strategies
- Build and maintain relationships with suppliers (external) and internal customers including inside sales, outside sales and customer service

**Qualifications and Experience**
- University Education coupled with 2 years’ of relevant work experience
- Effective communication skills in English and working knowledge of French, additional languages an asset

**Salary**: $45,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
