Parts Associate

Georgetown Honda is looking for an enthusiastic, knowledgeable, hardworking individual to add to our growing team as a Parts Associate. The individual will be responsible for assisting all mechanics and customers in purchasing needed parts and supplies and will report directly to the Parts Manager. The day to day operation will consists of quoting, checking availability, sorting orders and stocking the shelves. We work closely with the Service and Sales departments to ensure parts are ordered and ready to ensure 100% customer satisfaction.

**Responsibilities and Duties include**:

- Tracking all incoming and outgoing parts for a dealership.
- Locating available parts when the dealership is out of stock at other local dealers or aftermarket sources (when needed).
- Notify service personnel when special order parts or back-ordered parts are received.
- Handling parts payment collection and making sure all parts are billed correctly through the service and sales departments.
- Packaging and shipping parts back to the manufacturer.
- Referring to electronic parts manuals to identify exactly the right part(s) using the vehicle vin.
- Maintain cleanliness of parts and accessories department and keep inventory neatly stacked and orderly.
- Tire tracking, pulling and storing for tire storage customers.
- Parts deliveries.

**Qualifications and Skills**

Applicant should have computer proficiency, team oriented, flexible and focused on maintaining a high level of customer service. Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask. Have the ability to effectively respond to and meet the needs of a diverse client base. Ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs on a regular basis (heavy parts, tires, rims, etc.). Have the ability to work efficiently and effectively under pressure with simultaneous deadlines. Automotive experience an must Wages based on experience.
