We are currently recruiting for **Room Attendants** to work at the **Radisson BLU Toronto Downtown.** The Room Attendant is responsible for ensuring our guests walk into an exceptionally clean room, leaving them with the sense they’ve arrived to their home for the next few days. **Room Attendant’s Key Responsibilities**:

- Enter guest rooms to provide cleaning services, which includes but is not limited to, removing used linen and garbage, making beds, dusting, cleaning the bathroom, vacuuming, and replenishing room amenities.
- Ensure cleaning services are completed to meet the hotel standards.
- Perform rotation cleaning duties (e.g. steam clean carpets, spring cleaning, deep cleaning etc.) as required.
- Greet each guest with a warm and courteous smile, ensuring a welcoming interaction.
- Clean stay-over and check-out rooms, in the time allotted by the Hotel.
- Address any guest concerns or requests, ensuring the guest leaves feeling their needs have been met.
- On occasion, deliver items to guest rooms.
- Maintain a properly stocked Housekeeping cart, ensuring enough supplies are available to service guest rooms.
- Work closely with other team members and departments to ensure a seamless and exceptional guest experience.
- Follow through on daily tasks and key responsibilities, driving a culture of teamwork and fun
- Perform other reasonable tasks as assigned by management.

**Qualifications for the Role**:

- Previous experience working at a Room Attendant or cleaning is an asset, but not a requirement.
- Must be able to move, lift, carry and place objects weighing less than or equal to 30lbs without assistance, and in excess of 30 lbs with assistance.
- Ability to push and pull a loaded Housekeeping cart and other work-related equipment over sloping and uneven surfaces.
- Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling and stooping. Stand, sit, kneel or walk for an extended period across an entire work shift.
- Strong verbal communication skills, and positive attitude.
- Proven customer service skills and resolving customer concerns.
- Strong organization skills and a proficient multi-tasker.
- Must be available to work Saturday’s and Sunday’s, as a minimum. Availability to work other varied shifts, including mornings, afternoons and evenings, weekends and holidays is an asset.
- Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
