**Job Summary**

**Duties**
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, grooming, and dressing.
- Provide meal preparation and assist with feeding as necessary.
- Support patients in mobility and transportation within the facility or home.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Monitor and document patient health and behavior changes, reporting any concerns to nursing staff.
- Engage clients in social activities to promote mental well-being and companionship.
- Assist with heavy lifting when necessary for patient transfers or mobility support.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and maintain confidentiality of patient information.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in health care aid or caregiving is preferred.
- Knowledge of assisted living practices and senior care principles is a plus.
- Familiarity with dementia care techniques is advantageous.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and assist patients with mobility challenges.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Compassionate demeanor with a genuine interest in helping others improve their quality of life.
- Certification or training as a Health Care Aide or similar qualification is desirable but not mandatory.
- Required vaild driver license, first aid certificate, BLS, CPR certificate
- Valid vulnerable sector police clearance

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $16.72 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 16 per week

Ability to Commute/Relocate:

- Calgary, AB T3N 0R1: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Education**:

- High school or equivalent (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Health care aid: 1 year (preferred)

**Language**:

- Hindi (preferred)

License/Certification:

- Driver license (preferred)
