**Role Purpose**:
The Compounder batches a large variety of raw material to create cosmetic, toiletry, and drug product formulas in accordance with the company SOP’s, GMP’s and government regulations.

**Timing**:
Days: 6:30am-2:45pm
Afternoons 2:30pm-10:45pm

**Key Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Batches liquids
- Plans and coordinates equipment and facility requirements to meet short and long term scheduling objectives.
- May assist in developing more junior staff through training.
- Improves the profitability by output and efficiency of the batch.
- Follows GMP procedures in compliance with government and corporate regulations/guidelines.
- Follows SOP’s in compliance with government GMP’s and corporate objectives.
- Ensures the schedule is followed to meet set timelines.
- Responsibilities may include manufacturing pilot batches and participating in troubleshooting problem batches.

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- B.Sc. in Sciences is desired but not required.
- 3+ years of compounding experience.
- The ability to multi-task and work under pressure
- Basic math skills
- Problem solving, decision making skills and troubleshooting capabilities

**Physical Demands**:

- Standing and walking for extended periods of time
- Lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds
- Pushing and pulling up to 50 pounds
- Repetitive movement over extended periods
