As an industry leading corrugated product manufacturer, we at **Independent Corrugator Inc. (ICI)** are committed to supplying structurally and aesthetically appealing corrugated material within a quick time frame.

The Take-Off and Stacker Operator’s primary responsibility is to support the manual and automatic stacking of Corrugator Board coming off of Corrugators onto pallets in preparation of shipping completed orders.

**Weekly Rotation shift required. Shift Premiums applicable.**

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Review load tags for each order for prior to starting to ensure any special stacking instructions are understood and can be implemented.
- Ensure each pallet has protective bottom sheets applied prior to use.
- Inspect product off-loading throughout order to ensure quality is as expected, calling out any changes in dimensions and finish.
- Initiate Non-conforming Products Procedure for any identified non-conformances.
- Depending on corrugator line and equipment, off-load completed corrugate sheets to pallets either manually or through the operation of automated stacking equipment to approved stack heights.
- Set-up and operation of automated stacker equipment.
- Generally keeping work area clean and tidy.

**Education and/or Experience**:

- High school diploma or two-four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Corrugator experience preferred.

**Required Skills and Abilities**:

- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and operating instructions.
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Ability to communicate comfortably in both verbal and written correspondence.
- Must have good organizational and time management skills

**Working Conditions**:

- High heat and noise levels
- Occasional kneeling, reaching above shoulder, working at heights and climbing steps
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work in shifts (days, afternoons, nights - rotating weekly)
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts.
