Penn-co Construction is a leading construction company currently hiring a Project Coordinator to join our team working at our Steinbach office. **Responsibilities**:
- Collaborate with project manager and superintendent to define project requirements, goals, and deliverables.
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, ensuring tasks are accurately defined, assigned, and completed within established timelines.
- Material takeoffs, pricing documents, track and log shop drawings, process change orders and requests for information.
- Coordinate project meetings, including scheduling, agenda preparation, and minute taking, to facilitate effective communication and decision-making among stakeholders.
- Coordinate project resource allocation, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to ensure optimal utilization and efficiency.
- Foster positive working relationships with internal teams, external stakeholders, and vendors to facilitate collaboration and smooth project execution.
**Qualifications**:
- Experience in the construction industry
- A diploma in CET or an equivalent academic combination is an asset.
- Experience with Microsoft office
- Able to work flexible hours periodically as required for site visit, willing to travel.
- Ability to work as a team player, manage multiple priorities, and work under pressure.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset, capable of identifying potential issues and proposing appropriate solutions.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, enabling clear and concise communication with diverse stakeholders.
