Lulu Bar is looking for an experienced server to fill out their team on a full-time or part-time permanent basis. Servers are responsible for several functions including, but not limited to, providing first class customer service to all guests in a prompt and professional manner, educating guests on menu items, processing transactions, payments, while maintaining cleanliness in all areas of the restaurant and bar. **COMPENSATION**
- Hourly wage: $15 per hour

**DUTIES & ESSENTIAL **RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Welcome and greet guests in a friendly manner making them feel comfortable and letting them know you are there to personally take care of them.
- Inform guests of specials and menu changes.
- Make recommendations you genuinely feel guests will enjoy.
- Answer questions about food, beverages and other restaurant functions and services.
- Take food and beverage orders from guests, enter orders in point-of-sale system and ensure accurate orders are relayed to the kitchen and bar.
- Deliver food and beverages from kitchen and bar to guests in a timely matter.
- Perform side work at the start and end of each shift as required by service station assignment.
- Maintain clean service areas.
- Monitor and observe guests dining experience, ensuring guests are satisfied with the food and service. Respond promptly and courteously to any requests.
- Prepare final bill, present check to guest, accept payment, process credit card charges or make any necessary changes.
- Be ready and willing to assist fellow servers as situations arise.
- Be ready and willing to assist bus person with clearing and resetting tables.
- Thank guests for their visit and invite them to return.
- Be available to provide support as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant as directed by the FOH Manager.
- Complete end of shift cash out procedures as directed.
- Execute additional tasks are required.

**QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS REQUIRED**
- Minimum 2 years’ experience serving, or bartending required
- Wine and cocktail knowledge is considered an asset.
- Strong communication skills to establish relationships with employees, partners, vendors, and guests.
- Ability to fluently communicate in both written and verbal English.
- Must have knowledge of dining room and service procedures and functions.
- Possesses basic math skills, can handle money, and operate a point-of-sale system confidently.
- Pro Serve Certification required but can be obtained within 30 days of hiring.
- Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 5 hours).
- Able to safely lift and easily maneuver trays of food or beverage weighing up 25 pounds.
- Must be over 18 as alcohol service and open scheduling availability is a requirement.
