**Job Overview**
**Responsibilities**
- Prepare and cook pizzas according to established recipes and customer specifications.
- Ensure all ingredients are fresh, properly stored, and handled in accordance with food safety regulations.
- Assist in the preparation of other menu items as needed, including meal preparation for daily specials.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including cooking stations and equipment.
- Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure optimal quality and safety of all food items.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Help train new kitchen staff on food handling procedures and cooking techniques.
- Follow all health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
**Requirements**:
- Previous experience in the food industry, particularly in a restaurant or kitchen setting, is preferred.
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques, meal preparation, and food handling practices.
- Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
- A passion for cooking and creating delicious meals that delight customers.
**Job Type**: Part-time
Pay: $15.20-$19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 - 30 per week
