**Fleet Coordinator**

**Job Summary**

Seeking a responsible energetic Fleet Coordinator.

Manages the daily operations of the fleet. Oversees the overall repairs, maintenance and functionality of the fleet. Ensures each driver receives the vehicle with a level of customer service that exceeds in the industry, and that of our clients.

Hours will vary according to customer demand and will be agreed upon prior to hire.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Manage daily operations.
- Approve repairs, handle registration renewals and address employee questions.
- Analyze and approve fuel as well as maintenance expenditures.
- Manage rental vehicle process.
- Oversee maintenance and fuel programs to ensure compliance as well as eliminate inefficiencies.
- Manage driver hiring and retention.
- Determine vehicle functionality including placement of aftermarket equipment.
- Manage negotiations with dealers and vendors, to lease and outfit new fleet vehicles.
- Engage in drivers’ safety meetings, quarterly training and ensure driving compliance.
- Manage trip planning, minimize mileage and handle bills of lading.
- Develop and monitor driving patterns/rotation of fleet to ensure maximum fleet utilization.
- Track expiration and residual values of lease agreements.
- Prepare reports to analyze fleet costs and performance.
- Negotiate for various agreements with vendors such as leasing companies, fuel card companies and maintenance agreements to procure best results.
- Assist in other areas as need be.

**Qualifications/Requirements**
- College/University preferred.
- 3-5 years’ experience in the industry.
- Knowledge of lease structures with strong communication (written and oral), computer and leadership skills.
- Manage multiple relationships well.
- Problem and conflict management skills.
- Ability to flourish in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to handle pressure and remain calm in all situations.
- Work independently and in a team environment.
- Customer service orientated - positive, professional and responsive.
