**Job Description**:
Technical Strategic Account Manager will be responsible for maintaining existing portfolio of Water Treatment Accounts and actively develop new business opportunities within the assigned territory. This is a full-time role with potential to progress your career within our company.
- Work directly with District Sales Manager/ Regional Manager to implement strategies and plans for driving improved customer satisfaction and new account growth in water treatment, wastewater and industrial odor control.
- Build relationships and demonstrating the capabilities of our products.
- Work with Field Engineer to create new opportunities and solutions for customer retention and growth.
- Ensure an accurate representation of State Industrial to the market with regards to product specific regulations and information.
- Leverage cross functional groups to couple knowledge of customer needs with existing and future technology capabilities.
- Stay current on market standards, trends and practices and understand the impact on State Industrial product line and business.
- Maintain and update CRM with all existing customer and prospect information.
**Minimum Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's Degree
- Must be Bi-Lingual French and English
- 5 years of professional experience in a business-to-business environment preferably with sales or sales support experience in the industrial water treatment and industrial chemical industry.
- Strong problem solving, analytical, and project management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to work well in a group as a solid team player
- Ability to build and maintain relationships and coordinate projects across different functional groups regionally
- Attention to detail; strong sense of urgency
- Learning and people agility
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Experience with Customer Relations Management (CRM) software preferred
- Flexibility to adjust to changing workflow demands.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively interact with internal/external customer
