We are well-established commercial trucking company that has been in business for numerous years, with operations throughout Canada and USA with Head office in Leamington ON.
We are looking for experienced, motivated, and hardworking individuals to join our Company’s Transportation Compliance Sector to promote high standards in Safety and Compliance in the Trucking Industry in Canada & USA.
As part of the Transportation team, members are responsible for supporting the goal by ensuring loads are delivered to our customers on time and in the most cost-efficient manner by utilizing company trucks. all while remaining safe and compliant
**Responsibilities**:
As Compliance Administrator you will be responsible for ensuring all company policies related to drivers and company compliance remains compliant to Ministry rules and regulations. While working under the direction of the Senior Manager, you will be responsible for executing and overseeing daily operations such as:
**Driver Compliance & Functions**
- Must have thorough Knowledge of the DOT / MTO Regulations, regarding driving and driver responsibility.
- Review and maintain all Driver Qualification files. Ensuring all documents are up to date; for example current valid Driver license copy, FAST Card, Passport, etc.
- Assist in Driver hiring, driver training and orientation to ensure drivers meet regulatory and company qualifications
- Monitor and review HOS, detect violations in ELD and advise on appropriate corrective action.
- Assist in documenting and updating compliance related data
- Audit driver logs and provide feedback on deficiencies in Driver Hours of Service (HOS)
- Assist in coordinating driver safety meetings
- Assist in documenting and updating safety related data
- Responsible for driver Hours of Service (HOS) from ELD logs and driver files and qualifications to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Perform audits and/or monitoring to ensure policy and procedure compliance.
- Drug and Alcohol Program - communication on appt. scheduling
- Order Driver Abstracts for Annual Reviews
- Report and schedule follow-up with drivers on any violations, tickets, accidents, injuries, claims and other incidents as they occur.
- Transferring data from paper formats into computer files or database.
- Sort, organize and file paperwork after entering data to ensure it is not lost.
- Reviewing, processing, and auditing driver logs. Follow up on any outstanding discrepancies.
- Scheduling safety meetings/training when required with drivers.
- Monitor and enforce Drug and Alcohol Policy.
**Company Compliance & Functions**
- Assist in tracking Commercial Vehicle Operator Registration (CVOR) data
- Review the CVOR events.
- Ensure the follow-up of the compliance policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with US FMCSA/DOT and Canada national safety code regulations and requirements by province.
- Assist in reviewing the qualification renewal process.
- Assist with other Safety and Compliance functions as required.
- Must be able to actively monitor CVOR, Abstract, CSA, MVR, ELD Regulations and driver logs
**Licensing Requirements & Authority Books**
- Plating requirements for trucks and trailers
- Create, maintain, and update truck operating authority binders, ensuring all trucks and trailers have all related documents, authorities, permits, and plates.
- Assist in Annual licensing Renewals for all vehicles/Permit renewals/Special Permits
- Order, maintain, track, and distribute.
- All Special Permits
- Driver Fuel Cards
- bridge cards for border crossing
- US Transponders
- Set up and Maintain Master Records of Trucks, Trailers and Drivers through our TMS software
**ELD Policies and Procedures**
- Review driver Hours of Service (HOS) from ELD logs to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Must be able to review & audit driver’s HOS through ELD platform.
- Maintain Company policies and programs to improve and maintain regulatory safety profiles including its review and tracking.

- Review and follow company to ensure compliance.
- _**Unidentified Driver Logs **_
- Reassign from the Electronic Logging Device (ELD), report all unassigned logs
**Accident/Incident Duties**
- Collision / Incident reporting, Investigation & take any necessary action to maintain overall safe practices and procedures.
- Making sure drivers are accurately completing accident/incident reports when required.
**Requirements and Qualifications**:
- Detail orientated with effective, efficient & professional communication.
- Ability to organize work to meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of Hours or Service and MTO and DOT regulations an asset
- Keen attention to detail, good time management and organizational skills
- Working Knowledge of the Highway Traffic Act
- Knowledge of CVOR
- Knowledge of HOS rules for both Canada and the US
- Experience in the transportation industry an asset
