Concrete Pump Operator

There is an exciting opportunity for a talented professional to join the Construction team in Vancouver as a Concrete Pump Operator. This role will be responsible to safely drive and operate brand new concrete pump and placing boom equipment, while ensuring that all safety measures and precautions are taken into account.

**What Will You Do?**
- Drive the pump in a safe and conscientious manner to the job site and back to the yard.
- Operate the pump in a safe and conscientious manner, set up system, and clean out the pump after the job.
- Light repair of pumps: Some maintenance is required. Know the pump well enough to recognize problems and report them.
- Customer relations: Represent the Company through efficient work and courteous service.
- Keep unit clean: Keep the pump and truck washed and free of concrete and grease. Keep system free of concrete.
- Yard: Return system after use to appropriate location in yard. Keep yard neat and orderly.
- Paperwork: Complete and submit pump inspection forms, job ticket and maintenance forms.
- Keep an accurate timecard of time worked.
- Perform a variety of tasks and operate other equipment as needed or required when not pumping concrete.

**What You Bring.**
- Minimum of 3-5 years working in construction as a concrete pump operator
- Previous experience operating high pressure line pumps and articulating boom pumps
- Must have valid and clean class 1 drivers’ license or class 3 drivers' license with air endorsement
- Knowledge of the concrete industry - understanding concrete and mix designs
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Physically fit, punctual, dependable and hardworking
- Willingness to work over-time as required
