This is a dual role to conduct AQAP and Document Control duties. Reporting directly to the Leader, Quality Assurance, the Quality Assurance Specialist / AQAP will be responsible for maintaining and monitoring Quality Management Systems and coordinate with other departments on their daily activities to meet production goals and product quality standards. The Quality Assurance Specialist / AQAP will ensure Dynaleo’s targets are met while maintaining quality, safety, and regulatory compliance with the Cannabis Act, Cannabis Regulations, and Dynaleo standard operating procedures. The Quality Assurance Specialist / AQAP will participate in continued development, revision, and management of internal documentation (SOPs, logs/forms, QMS, etc.). This is a fulltime permanent position operating on a shift schedule including weekends.

**The Tasks**:

- Support in managing the Quality Assurance Department.
- Conduct QAP duties as required.
- Perform pre
- and post-operational checks for production and packaging.
- Conduct daily quality tests/checks on product and process.
- Perform environmental sampling activities.
- Collect samples and prepare for laboratory analysis.
- Complete deviation and corrective action reports.
- Investigate quality complaints.
- Provide timely feedback on quality issues with recommended corrective actions and/or preventative measures.
- Involved in the continuous development of the Quality Management System through hazard assessment, creating new procedures, and identifying efficiencies.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure compliance with Health Canada regulations and guidelines.
- Understand and comply with all Standard Operating Procedures.
- Assist in developing, reviewing, and maintaining SOPs, QMS, and projects to ensure compliance under the Cannabis Act/Regulations.
- Responsible for management of internal documentation according to regulations and internal policies.
- Maintain QMS by performing record-keeping tasks such as document updates and change controls.

- Must be strongly literate in computing and software: Sharepoint, Outlook, Word processing, PDF software, document management systems, etc.

**The Qualifications and Requirements**:

- Minimum B.Sc. Degree in Chemistry, Biology, Pharmacology, Food Science, or other related scientific field; obtained or recognized by a Canadian University.
- 3+ years experience in Quality Assurance/Control in a production environment.
- 1+ years experience in Document Control/Management.
- Previous cannabis industry experience preferred.
- Previous manufacturing experience.
- Must be able to work on a rotational schedule including weekends.
- Health Canada Security Clearance preferred, or the ability to obtain.
