The **Logistics Co-Ordinator** provides support on a broad scope of supply chain tasks and projects to ensure the efficient and effective flow of goods. This role will be accountable for various transportation activities including tracking in-transit shipments, scheduling of intermodal deliveries, completing daily reports, managing, and administering shipping documents. This is an excellent entry level opportunity, in a growing and entrepreneurial environment, providing exposure to all business areas.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Effectively track shipment status using CN website and other modes of system updates
- Organize and schedule delivery appointments for Trucks and Intermodal, allowing adequate time for paperwork and processing
- Manage the various carrier options to best align with the needs of the customers
- Gather rail status reports and direct to any of five warehouses
- Gather and analyze inbound and outbound reports
- Ability to problem solve as issues arrive, working with the Logistics Manager to resolve
- Continuously monitor railcar and intermodal transportation
- Enter and verify all freight purchase orders
- Verify truckloads and monitor rates
- Maintain communications with the sales and purchasing teams throughout the duration of the order

**Qualifications**:

- Certificate, Diploma or Degree in Business Admin, Supply Chain and/or Logistics Management
- 1-3 year in Business Office Environment/Customer Service/Materials/Supply Chain Management
- Positive attitude, outgoing, professional, and sense of responsibility
- Ability to self-manage, set goals, plan and prioritize effectively
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, specifically the ability to conduct reporting and data analysis
- Experience working with an ERP System
- Attention to detail and thorough, accurate transaction records
- Ability to organize and prioritize work to meet deadlines and handle multiple projects
- Working knowledge of Vendor contracts
- Sound knowledge of domestic and export logistics processes, as well as documentation requirements
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and fundamental business communication (written & oral) skills

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $45,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
