**Job Overview**:

- Working knowledge of **Tekla** software is a must.
- Preparation of shop drawings as required, ICI Structural Steel, Miscellaneous Metals & PEB projects.
- Create and maintain accurate records, following company policies and document all activities required to manage projects
- Communicate and discuss the scope of new projects with Management and conduct a review of drawings, reports, and any other details of the scope of the project

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field, Or at least 5 years of experience.
- Proven experience as a Drafter/Designer/Detailer in the steel fabrication industry
- Experience in structural steel and misc. metal is a must
- Proficiency in drafting software (Tekla)
- Keen attention to detail and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Strong experience in working with Ontario Building Codes (OBC), welding symbols, and connection details.
- Familiar with welding and machining processes
- Mechanically inclined (Materials and Manufacturing knowledge)
- Good Attitude and Work Ethics.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- It is very important that individual will be able to perform the designing (familiar with the drafting process as well) as an intermediate to senior position there will be NO training.

Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour
